Happy hump day, new Morgan toner from the LCS. See if you can guess the grade. I loved the coin, I think it's my most neon toned Morgan I own. Glad to have added it today! Hope you all enjoy and have a great day.

Your average MS63 Morgan has more hits and Liberty's face/cheek as a focal area is pretty much clean. Considering the nice obv toning and the luster, that's a 64 with a shot at 64+/65 in my book. Sadly the pics seem to hide the luster and shine of the coin.

Nice looking coin - nicks and dings may bring it down to 63

Would of said 64 - 64+ until I seen the deep gash at the neck, which IMO would limit it to 63

Did you miss the huge gouges on her neck?

MS63 the neck on the Obverse hurts this coin :( Probably from getting MS65

Personally, I think it got a 1 pt bump for color, which looks a lot cooler in your new photo.
I like it, I like it a lot!!!!
Edit: looks like you got it at a fair price too!
Please remove that sticker, that's one of my biggest OCD pet peeves on the planet!

Thanks again everybody. I considered it a steal for $55. I removed the sticker to find a $70 sticker under that. I say I did well.

    No Chris, I didn't. I would have said 65 if the gouges weren't there. And I got it right, it's a 64 :)

PS: I was born after the "gradeflation era" and don't know what a true 64 looks like LOL

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Ouch, those gouges on the cheek are quite severe. I'd grade the obverse no higher than 62. The reverse looks nice, and semi-prooflike, probably a 64. The crescent toning is attractive, but the splotchiness of the rest of the obverse is negative. I would call this a 63, personally. Glad you are happy with it!
