The clean fields of front of her profile should tell us that it is AU. I would give this coin an AU55. The heavy polishing on the cheek say that it has seen more than one pocket.

I would like to add that a coin that doesn't display this level of originality leaves my definition of AU.

I'll extend your limb and go MS 62 :D

AU 55 would be closer to my own grade for this particular coin.

I totally agree by my eye it's an Au55 and no where near mint state.
That said not knocking the coin as I find Au coins very eye appealing at times and sometimes more so than MS. Good guess.

It's not a bad looking coin at all...at the right price if needed I be right on it.... but again it is a poster child for buy the coin not the slab....Unless you think you could flip it at the grades par...but and there's always a but how many collectors of Morgans are looking for a grade 62?
I'm not saying there's none....but how many are searching for lower ms morgans...?
