I’d wager a guess of VF25. This is a very nice example for the grade.

I got a smoking deal on it and am trying PCGS. I don’t think it will grade any lower. Thanks for the opinions

You might try CAC to see if you can get a rare gold bean!

There's way too much detail on the eagle to be a F15, imo.

Some grader must have had a bad day when that was graded.

Vf 20 nice coin....and these little suckers are hardly ever found at a show! They are like hens teeth

I don’t think I saw any at the Vegas show, definitely not of this date. CoinFacts says some of the reported mintage was probably 1837’s since there is only one known die pairing for the year.

I have walked shows with 30 plus dealers not one to be found! Shows of 60 plus dealers maybe 1.....on the floor...you very seldom see any more than 1 if any. A tough series to collect as you're always chasing the dream.

This week Paddy is posting from Peabody Mass.

I'm stayin' in a Holiday Inn full of surgeons
I guess they meet here once a year
    They exchange physician stories
And get drunk on IPA beers
Then they're off to catch a stripper
With their eyes glued to her G
But I don't think that I would ever let any of them cut on me!
