I agree with the AU-53 sentiment On LDS capped bust halves, the flow lines were sometimes easily visible down to VF grades.
The strike on this one, especially the reverse, is kinda wonky. That's making it hard to grade. I like it at 45, but I could see it going AU-50. What's with the weird cloudy splotchy areas in the obverse fields behind her head? The rest of the coin looks to be quite attractive, but I'm trying to figure out what's going on there.
Dunno... To me, it looks like the sort of circulation wear that usually gets an XF40, maybe 45, from the major TPG’s. But if it did, it would merit a Green Bean from CAC, IMHO.
I'm going to say 45 for the heck of it, my usual disclaimer that luster is very hard to judge on static photos. Great looking coin!
