VF 20 is my guess ...this is one of the series where I think the coin looks good in most grades.

Old silver VF-20 max.

 

I really like the fields on that coin, I am in the XF category. These coins were often struck with problems.

 

I don't think any below 20, though the eagle shows plenty of wear. ( or weakness? )

Yeah, 20 is my guess.

 

I am in the 20 camp as well.

The reverse on these are all over the place.
The obverse makes me think 25 at PCGS.

If the TPG is PCGS I suspect they would have said F15, but a VF20 wouldn’t surprise me. They seem to get more demanding as the late 20’s segue into the 30’s. Or have I just been staring at these ,things too steadily?

 

25...nice obv. I believe the rev. to be weakly struck [pressed] around feathers.

 

The reverse certainly drags down the overall grade, but I'm thinking VF-20. Nice half!

Nice pick. Definitely a VF coin.

Interesting as that is not the original green PCI, but from the time one of the new owners tried to recreate the old holders (and were usually worse in terms of grading).
