I'm at VF-20. Realistically, it may have the detail for a 25 grade, but that is an unusual grade and you don't see it very often.
C2 die state 3 - R6 (..allegedly. Does anyone keep a tally of these old coppers like they do with VAMs?)
I was going to guess 25 details; but the high mag images really over emphasize the specks of corrosion (or gunk). Nice coin.
Agreed on this, the original images were overexposed and exaggerated the negative aspects of the coin. Looks more natural and wholesome in hand.
I was going between VF-30 and 35. Looking at PCGS-graded VF-30’s and VF-35’s led me to say VF-35. Much more so, particularly with early Large Cents.
