Wow, chewed up and spit out counterfeit 1853? I like it.

Edit- Or could it be genuine and just gouged for the copper? I'm intrigued..

No idea, I figured it could be identified by the artifact within and below the O of one cent. The best I can figure is 1848 N-18, but I have about zero confidence in that. Can't wait until Ed responds with what his world class graders said.

My staff looked at this and they decided that with out having this coin in our hands that we cant really be exactly sure for 100%

After all, who could even remotely consider venturing a guess without being 100% positive.

    Hey, @ed wood 654
May, I ask for your contract, Business license, Insurance, Mailing Address, Do you have a web site that can, Confirm, Receipt, and Return?
I Have a few coins that I would like you to grade, these would be of nominal value to @Paddy54 coin.
But, with all that you speak, I would like to know your evaluation?

    Where you been?
What is your turn around time like?
How much time do you, take to evaluate the coin?
Do you have certain denominations that You evaluate Yourself?
or, Do you let your employees dictate your Name, and public persona.

Are we getting an evaluation or, a guarantee?

Yes, it's a proprietary process known as "Tactile Coin Grading" - patent pending.

The fingerprints all over MS coins are just a calling card signifying that your coin has been touched by greatness.

I was the sound guy for the finalizer at the Jazz Fest in New Orleans last year. Too bad he got rained out, but still cool to meet.
