I haven't even looked to see if they are low run notes, but anyway friend had these so i bought them off her. Figured after looking them up i could just spend them Series 2003-A FL 00050413* FL 00050418*
What's wrong Mike? Currency getting expensive fast? LOL and sorry HAD to ask that. Wouldn't you know 1.28 million printed and listing at $175 in CU. Man those serial numbers are really close to consecutive. You should track down the 4 notes in between! Do what you gotta do though seriously Mike. Keep one if you can or both. I have passed up a LOT of 100's over the years. clembo
Damn, not CU, but they are still crisp. I don't need to spend them. I can hang onto both if there is a decent premium on them. I just don't want to save two $100 bills that are only worth $100 if you know what i mean. I tried to see if she had the other 4 notes, but no luck. I would have bought them if she did. Maybe i'll hang onto them then if there is a small premium over face.
Does this sound really familiar? If you can keep them then keep them. If not then don't. From past experience 100s are tough even to sell on ebay and you have to consider the fees. Honestly, modern currency is not real hot right now from what I see but that can change. If you need to dump one or both but can afford to hang on to them for a while longer put them on the open forum at face value plus shipping. At least a collector gets them in that case. Daggarjon deserves the credit for that train of thought and it sets well with me.
FRN San FranCisco...not gem you say? Then AU will still bring a premium for you Mike. I would keep them or trade them for someting I really wanted... But Clembo is right on the numbers and value. Those figures came out of the Schwartz/Lindquist 7th I am pretty sure. Nice notes and post some pics when you can. RickieB
I'll post some pics when i get a sec. I've decided to keep them. I just didn't want to save notes that were only worth face value.
