I don't get the Grey Sheet anymore but would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me as to the buy and sell price of a full set of NGC PF-70 state and ATB quarters from 1999 to 2016 including the 2009 set. I am just trying to get an idea of what prices I can expect from dealers when I sell them this year.

Did you have them graded or did you buy them graded?

Both. Some I bought, some I sent in several sets and kept the 70s.

Grey sheet is not buy prices. Grey sheet prices are the "sight seen" prices of actual sales, so typically high dealer-to-dealer sales.

The blue sheet is the sign-unseen, so more in line with dealer purchases.

Are thsee the silver or clad versions?

The 1999 Denver pf 70 silver still goes for a good amount, which makes the 1999 silver 70 set sell in the 700-800 range (via heritage).

Many of the other coins can be had for under $20 each. I would likely not expect to get top dollar from dealers on these. Many will only offer melt even for PF 70. Ebay, heritage, or Great Collections are your best options.

Yes, forgot to add they are all silver, not clad. While I hate to pay the eBay fees, I may have to resort to that. Rather sell as a lot but at our local coin show and there was no interest so I may try Baltimore in June and then decide what to do.

A big show may be better, but eBay will likely work best. I'd also suggest to break it up into listings by year (i.e. a 1999 set, 2000 set, etc...or groups of sets...it will be harder to sell all at once).

Local shows and local dealers usually just don't want to deal with these. I had a single 2014 Silver Proof 70 NGC ATB Quarter and no one wanted to even make an offer at a local coin show.

I believe you'll find the "Grey Sheet" is a BID "Wish List" of prices that Principals of CDN Publishing desire for Numismatic commodity BID pricing.

It's been published as a stated basis for the believed "fair BID" pricing that some have decided they would like to pay for various coins.

The believed majority of the documents are understood to be shown unrelated, as merely BIDS, to general actual product purchases. Occasional bids may apply, but majority bids may not have any correlation to actual sales.

Many items are believed to be extremely unrelated to reality, but are still shown to others as a factual basis for general acquisitions.
