These arent that spactacter of coins but I really liked the patina and picked them up a couple days ago. Both are Gordian III provicials from Viminacium.
Not bad on the Viminacium dupondii. There's a spreadsheet on them here: http://www.catbikes.ch/coinstuff/coins-ric.htm. This is one of my favorite green patinas: Nezak Huns AE Drachm Kabul mint, c. 600-700 AD In Pahlavi, NPKY MLK to right, A behind Bust r. with winged bull’s head crown Fire altar with attendants; wheel symbols in fields above, control marks in outer fields Göbl, "Dokumente" Em. 198/34; cf. MACW 1510
thanks I wana find one thats pale blue green sometime (though not activly looking) similar to the small blotch of color by Antoninus' neck
A terrible scan, but here's a nice blue: Geta Philippopolis, Thrace AE18, 209-212 AD AVT K Λ CEΠTI ΓETAC draped bust r. ΦIΛI-ΠΠOΠO-ΛEI / TΩN tetrastyle temple with statue of hermes Moushmov 5388
Nice coins randy... great patina. This is the only one I have with much of a green patina, and it was hard to show in photographs..
Yeah, I had to use the flash, and it still doesn't look right. Best I could manage.... my coin photography skills seem to have fallen into disrepair....
