this thread is a spinoff of an earlier thread at the suggestion of another member. There have been suggestions that this coin is both roman provincial as well as Greek (Antiochus). I would love any feedback.
    Thanks.

The reverse shows clearly " NIKE". The obverse is likely to be a Greek Satrap.

Any idea what sort of value we are looking at? I understand that it is likely tough to say given the uncertainty of what the actual coin is.

To me it's blurry, but if it is the type posted the value is very low. These are common in low grade.

Looks like @chrsmat71 and @David@PCC have nailed it.

Here are some of the same type in CNG's archives. Bear in mind that these are in much better condition that yours and assess value accordingly.

No date of sale can be seen for the CNG Coin Shop coins, and the auction coins also have a buyer's fee attached which is not reflected in the price shown

    https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=260389 $60 + BP (2012)
    https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=167015 $72 (2010)

    Coin Shop:
    https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=22078 $150
    https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=139349 $135
    https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=139350 $95
    https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=139351 $135
    https://www.cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=139352 $135

You can find a few currently for sale with various Vcoins dealers and the condition is closer to yours, with asking prices ranging from ~$22 to ~60.

I promise this is my last post on the matter but am I really the only one who reads Antiochoy on the coin? Remember that the Seleucid style often used a dot for omicron as shown on my Hera reverse of Antiochus IV. I suspect the unreadable right side legend is Basileus but read nothing. The OP is obviously Nike and I do not study Seleucid bronzes and do not have the Houghton book on them. Does anyone? Did he collect the little bronzes or is the book mostly tetradrachms? There are an awful lot of little Seleucid bronzes.

Here are a few more shots with a different backdrop which allowed for a decent amount of contrast.

I'm not sure which of Houghton's you are referring but I use them all. I am unaware of any Antiochos with the OP obvs/rx combination. I can look again, but think the image is too blurry. Also Nike's arm appears to stick out through the inscription, however that only narrows it down to about 100 coins
