    Well...
my newest acquisition through eBay is not as pretty as what I was hoping but it’s my first from the country and I do like the design, so, I guess I’m happy enough. My birth year collection grows.

I would imagine there are finer examples but, is mine considered okay coming from a bank bag and being nearly 50 years old?

Congrats to your new addition. Greek currency designs are very nice, especially banknotes. As for your coin, I think you'll eventually upgrade. Overall ok, but the coin banging marks on the forehead and neck areas are a bit distracting. Just my thoughts.

I completely agree with your assessment although I haven’t made any banknote purchases yet. I think I have to start in that area with the $1, $2 and $5 Canadian bill before delving further, I just wish I would have stowed a few away back when I had the chance at face value. Thank you for your reply.

I like this design also, and yours is in pretty good shape for a coin made for circulation.

I have a similar coin in my birth year set.

The reverse of this coin reminds me of the 1930 Denmark 2 kroner
