Recently had a good sized show in town. Several dealers were offering world coins for $0.25 each. I found 138 of them I couldn’t leave behind. I tend to grab any early 20th c. French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese or Central and South American coins. I also have a thing for British farthings. Any high grade coins pre-1950 and really any BU red coppers. Die clashes, die cracks, RPD’s or any errors all come home with me. I search through tons of coins so of course I take home anything I don’t recognize. I enjoy searching for the coins and also researching them once I get home. Obviously for $0.25 each you can pick pretty wide without getting hurt in the wallet too bad. I found ~45 coins that I’ll end up 2x2’ing and at least 4 that are better dates, maybe semi key. They are: Luxembourg 1922 5 Centimes Canada 1923 1 Cent France (Vichy) 1944 20 Centimes Belgium (French text) 1913 5 Centimes - RPD 1913/3 France 1914 2 Centimes - not a key date but I love the 1 & centimes in high grade like this one. Below are all the 2x2’d keepers. Any information, thoughts or comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.
Also forgot I had a 1969 USSR 1 Rouble in rough shape. Working on cleaning it up to whatever degree possible.
