I got a little package in the mail the other day from ziggy. I finally had a chance to open it last night. Needless to say I was very exited when I opened it and 3 ancients were packed inside. One of my collecting goals was to get an ancient Roman coin, but with my limited knowledge (none) I was afraid to. I really have to thank ziggy for the thought and going to the trouble of giving me these coins. Now I will have to start studying these coins and see what I can add to them. Again, a very big thanks to ziggy. Just one more reason why I am addicted to cointalk.:thumb: Each coin is about the size of a cent. Constantine 1 Licinius 1 Tetricus 1
look at the obverse of the 3rd coin. See that little green spot? when I got these coins they were encrusted with up to an 1/8th inch thick layer of that .Olive oil couldn't put a dent in them (I had about 350). I finally came up with a method to clean them after about ten years of tryinh. I could tell you how I did it but then I would have to kill you. Richard
