Went through some wheat cents the other day with my magnifying glass, and this guy stuck out to me. Is this a greased die, or post mint? Any additional value? All help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Certainly not my area of expertise but I'll say post mint. Too flat to be a greased die.

More interesting is the raised metal behind Lincoln's neck. I'd guess the die was coming apart and likely caused the weak strike as well.

Yeah, it's supposed to be a Y. But it is not even the right shape and the rest of the letters are gone. Or rather, I don't think they were ever even there. I think the die broke. Could be wrong though.

So is this post mint or an error? Would more pics help? Thanks!

Post a pic of the whole coin, both sides.

It's post-strike damage. The puffy letters and numbers are incompatible with a grease strike or any other error.
