Here's another recent purchase. I forgot about this one. It's in an Old Green Holder. I am a big fan of this one, particularly the cabin and trees, which I think is the best part of the design.
There was also a gold dollar that had the some design, with and without the star. The star is a big deal on the half dollar, but it doesn't make much difference on the gold piece. The star was a raised on the die. Once they got done making the "with star" coins, they ground it off the die and struck the rest of the coins.
