Grandpa has told me every time he gives me a coin or more, "This is the last of it. You have everything I have ever owned in coins." Well, he gave me the same speech last week when he gave me his military issue stock box loaded to the rim with coins. Grandpa never went to a dealer, just pulled this and that from circulation or bank rolls. Here's a couple I found interesting, and hopefully you will too!

He had tons of V nickles all of various grades. I was like a kid in the candy store since I only had one V nickle up till the point. This one evidently did its job well of circulating. Grandpa saved it from another purchase:

He also had SEVERAL Indian Cents. Here are two that I liked the best. Love the chocolate look!

Lady's store in Richmond had a promotion, giving away free Wheat Cents with coupon. Grandpa didn't care to wait in line with the ladies to pick this one up:

Grandpa also said one day he went to the bank and noticed rolls of Sac Dollars. He bought a couple, put them in a sealed envelope and there they sat until last week when he gave me his box. Most complain of awful toning with this series, but who can complain with this one?

There's still so many more I need to catalogue. Also several bills of which I know NOTHING about. Just hoping this isn't really the "last" of his surprises. :)
