    Berk charges $150 per hour. That gets you a written appraisal, which you can use for insurance purposes. There is no fee if Berk buys the coins or if you just want a verbal appraisal.

    That result pretty much reinforces my view that accumulating large numbers of circulation coins is not a road to riches! :)

    Only $750? My collection is worth more than double that and I'm only 12!

    Selling your entire collection for one coin? The sentimental value of some of the coins I have would prevent me from doing anything like that.

    I can see selling a lot of the stuff that's common and circulated. There's really not a huge reason to have it sitting around. However, I'd at least pick several of Grandpa's coins that I particularly liked and keep them.

    I couldn't care less if my "collection" dropped to a value of $0.00, I'm completley in it for the fun.
