Have been trying to see if I can determine the grade on these two recent purchases, and wanted to solicit some experts opinions. I just finished a Kennedy BU P/D/S/S set and currently considering whether to start a Walking Liberty Half set, or a Morgan date set. These were both purchased raw off eBay for reasonable prices to put my toe in the water. These two currently reside in my US Type Set as of today. Thanks much!
Thanks for the input. I suspected the half was cleaned, but was not sure on the Morgan. I payed less than XF money for them, so there are no regrets if they don't reach the AU plateau.
That's really the bottom line in collecting. It all boils down to what you like and are satisfied with.....:smile There really is no right or wrong in that respect.
