I'm in the process of reformatting my coin images.
Right now I'm working on my Morgans.
Most of them are raw so I figured while I'm at it I'll grade them.
I've got my opinions; I'd like yours.

To that end I will post images and ask your opinions.
I'll do it one year at a time.
Do not comment about being cleaned; I'm still of the opinion that you have to have the coin in hand to make that judgement.
If a particular date/mm is missing that means it's slabbed (except the 1895 which I just plain don't have).

Oh, and if you happen to be familiar with VAM's and want to add that info I would greatly appreciate it.

    So we start with 1878-8tf.

    Now 1878-CC

    And finally 1878-S

Have at it, and thanks for any input.

Disclaimer: I'm no Morganologist. But I'll try:

    1) EF-40

    2) AU-50

    3)MS-64

I think the diagonal lines on the cheek of the last coin keep it out of an 64 for me... 63 if its lucky, IMHO

I agree with everyone's assessment of the first two coins, but I think even this lower opinion of the "S" is too high.
    MS, yes.
    But more like -62.
    Too baggy on the face.
