I recently picked up this group of coins. They arrived today in the mail. After looking them over I used photo Grade to try my own hand at grading. This is what I came up with 1905 p barber half VF20 1908 o barber half VF35 1908 o barber half XF40 1854 o seated half VG10 1892 Colombian Expo half XF45 ( no photo Grade so just winged this one) How did I do? The lot came with 5 other halves, 2 clad and 3 silver. The others are just your run of the mill common coins. The clads are UNC though with the other 3 being circulated. I may add some of the Barber halves to my the pile of coins to be slabbed in the future.
Thank you for your feedback fellas. I'm trying to work on my grading every time I buy a new coin and with out constructive criticism or validation of your work it's hard to tell how your doing lol.
I paid 100.99 for the whole lot so I feel like I did really well. The pictures on the auction weren't the greatest so I think it didn't go nearly as high as it should of. I rolled the dice a little buying them because of that but it ended up paying off this time.
