    Can I play? I think I see some wear on the breast feathers and on the obverse on the hair above the ear and over the brow so I'm going to say AU 50.

    I agree 100%. I'll only add that a scanner makes detecting mint luster, which is the largest single feature between an AU 50 and 55 coin, difficult at best...Mike

    I'm going to go au-58, maybe even a 60, since it is an O mint mark, and probably weakly struck. Too many scratches to go higher than that IMO.

    Looks like its been dipped the luster is all washed out to a dull gray

    That is certainly a well struck coin for an O. But it has a bit too much wear to make AU IMO - I'd say XF45.

    The scratches are cleaning marks and reduce the grade of the coin to about XF-45
