Pretty often you can see BU rolls of Morgan dollars, retailing for $400-600. Can I ask doesn it have any sense to send them to PCGS for grading?

It wouldn't make sense to me.
Of course, I'm just a simple coin collector.

Now, if I were a dealer, it would make mucho cents. ;)

    1. The world does not need yet another $20 Morgan in a BU holder. One third of all Morgans are uncirculated. They sat around in bank vaults because no one wanted them.

    2. If any of the coins were slabbable in the first place, the dealer who is selling the rolls would have done that already.

    3. Maybe 1 and 2 are both fallacious and it makes perfect sense. Buy a roll. Grade them yourself. See what you think. Is it worth it?

Have you already been through the ANA course on Grading U.S. Coins Today and watched the video on Grading Mint State U.S. Coins?

The only coins to slab are Key dates, and the ultra grades. Common run of the mill Morgans are not worth the grading fees. Throw it in a 2x2 like the rest of us.
