Hello, I bought this coin and i was wondering what grade it will get in PCGS and if its worth submitting it to them?: Thomas, ( this is another coin the last one i returned)
Worth about $4.00. Would grade as MS 63/64. Some surface corrosion, and a possible fingerprint on reverse. I would not send it in! Nice cameo effect though!
Agree fully with the fellows above. It’s a lovely coin to enjoy. Protect it with an affordable airtight capsule or something similar.
I'd be generous and go PF-64 cameo. (Not sure if a TPG would agree with me, but maybe I'm a more generous grader with these.) Probably not worth submitting unless you really want to do so for its own sake. I think it still looks pretty nice. At the very least if you're not going to submit it, put it in an airtite or something similar.
