    The '81-S is known for a nice strike, and this coin seems no different. The lack of apparent luster may be due to PL or DMPL surfaces. For me, it is always hard to discern from photos. There is a small ding near the corner of her mouth, but I don't think it is bad enough to keep it from grading MS65PL.
