Grade This Panama: (1982) 50 C. Piefort in 0.400 Gold

    I am frequently perplexed by the grading done at the TPGs....Grade this if you please. I see that what appear to be marks are mainly/all due to soft strike or rim issues. Note that on blank "reverses" that planchet prep lines are frequently leftover:

    Looks like a proof, so I will say PF-67 minimum. That is a nice, and seemingly very strange, coin!

    I'm hard pressed to see a mark on it, so I will guess 69 ... maybe 69 CAM?

    These were pretty much my thoughts. I will let a few other guesses to be made.
