Grade this Buffalo Nickel

I just picked this up at the CSNS show. Sorry about the blurry area around the rim, it has to do with the added macro lenses. I can assure you that area is super clean.




And yes, it is gold toned Too bad I couldn't capture the rose colors on the buffalo's shoulder region.

Looks like a solid MS65 to me.

 

Depends on how bad the gash on the cheek is. In any event, I'd grade it MS 64.

 

It seems to be a little weakly struck....is it a D/D or a D/S???
I think I would agree with Mikes grade of MS64

I haven't checked the mint mark yet. Eyes have been a little blurry lately due to some allergies.

The coin had MS65 on the 2x2, paid about 62 price. I put the coin at 64 borderline 65. Glad to know some people agree!

I'll double check the mint mark tomorrow. It wasn't of high priority at that point in time.
