    Ok, I'm thinkin AU-58ish

    R-zage said MS-63-64

BTW: Shout out to him, I gave him a book, and he unexpectedly mailed me this for the book:)

NOTE: Black spot on reverse is just tarnish.

Looks MS to me - hard to tell with scans and still in the 2x2. Just my opinion.

If it has any minor dings at all it takes it down to an AU right?
I'm still fairly new to this..lol...so I didnt want to give it a too high of a grade

Nope - minor dings or bag marks will lower the MS grade. Then slight wear takes in down to AU not dings. From what I see there is luster all across the coin and I see no obvious signs of wear. As I state time and again, I am not an expert. Wait for a real frankie expert to come along that might see something I do not see. No matter what that is a nice coin in my opinion.

Based on the pics I'd say more like AU50 - but it could be the pics.

Hold the coin in the light and rotate it slowly. If that dull grey color that is on the top Ben's head and his curls, and on the bell, is there when you turn it in the light while the adjoining areas reflect light - then I am probably correct.

I'm going to say nice MS coin you have there. Pics need to bee much better to say much more. In hand is the best, duh.
The strike appears weak. Compare to this 53.

I do like the toning starting on the reverse. That toning should bet brighter (more colorful) over time.

Well, I consider myself somewhat of a frankie expert but no one but my sisters and my now passed Mom and Dad has called me by that name since I left for the Army in 1972!:)

Goofing around aside, I believe that the coin is at least an MS-62 but may go higher! It is really hard to tell from the pics of the coin while it is still in the 2x2. There are only a couple of dings and what looks like a rub (contact mark) from another coin to the left of the crack in the Liberty Bell which would keep it from getting a FBL designation.

unusual toning ,small spot on reverse, can't see pics to tell if brilliant? gets score of 59, unless i can get a closer view. 2 years ago i sold a nice roll MS-62 Franklin's for $*** like to have them back. :) Ozarktravler

After further look, and getting more experience at grading, I would have to say that I now think this coin is an MS-62ish....idk though.
