Im looking at adding a nice barber half to my collection and ran across a 1915-S. What would you grade it (looks AU to me) and what would be a fair price to pay? Please let me know, thanks. Reverse: Obverse:
Looks like this coin is in a PCI slab? Yes? If that is the case, it will sell for considerably less than AU-50 money if that is what it is graded. The pics are kind of blurry so I can't say for sure but the eagles head and tail feathers point more toward the coin being XF instead of AU, which would put the coin around $180-200 as opposed to an AU which would be in between $320-400 depending on the grade of AU.
It's raw, it's just put in a slab type holder. So, it's a raw, high XF, low AU coin. What should I pay for it. The auction ends soon and I'd like some input, thanks.
Looks XF45 to me... good price would be $160... but if it turns out to be AU50, it's worth ~$200-210...
It went for $184.38 Too rich for my blood, and who's knows if it's been cleaned. The photos might hide things.
You were right not to bid , the pics were so blurry they could be hiding anything . The seller owes it to the bidders and himself to give better pics . rzage
