After finding a Hot 100 and a Hot 50 In my Morgan rolls I started looking a Bit deeper at some of my Coins.. I found this one last night..
I have confirmed that it has the markers for the VAM4 (Please correct if wrong) It has STRONG doubling on the 1 and the Two Dashes at the Eyelid..
The picture is from the scanner.. but this one is near proof like The rim is good.. it is my scanner and Paste that shows a bit odd.. No rim digs..
Grade / Value anyone? VAMworld has no price listing link for this one..

That a die crack between the one and the truncation? MS-64. For a scan, there appears to be lots of luster....:)

I would agree with the above user... Somwhere between MS63-64.... I would say it is not MS65... to many marks... With the traces of doubling... I'd say it might be worth anywhere from $50-100... But as I have been telling people, I'm just a guy with a red book...

It does look like vam 4, be sure to check out vam 11 too, they are both very similar. As for grade, can't be too sure from the scans, I would say MS, but couldn't give an actual grade without pics. As for the price, neither vam 4 or 11 are on any list, so I wouldn't expect much of a premium, if any. There's currently a ANACS MS62 vam 4 on eBay (BIN) $42.
