Grade my 1929 $2.5 Gold Indian

    This is one of those coins I shouldn't have bought. I knew nothing (and still don't) about gold, and about these coins. But I had to have some gold.

    Anyway, this is raw, and I'd like to see what you guys would grade it. Thanks!

    Oh boy, these are always fun to attempt to grade. I’m pretty sure I see hairlines in the reverse, and I’m having trouble seeing wear so I’ll wager MS details, improperly cleaned.

    I'm going AU/MS details, cleaned as well. The reverse in particular has the cleaned look, and not just the few hairlines. Of course, bad/harsh lighting can make these look cleaned sometimes even if they aren't.

    I'd say AU Details polished. It looks too glossy to be anything else.
