Obverse looks like VF25 and reverse F15. More than I would have paid.

It looks like Fine to me, and may have been cleaned to boot -- can't tell from the pics.

Cleaned, can't tell if harshly or not but a F-12 coin.

It's been dipped to death, then dipped one more time just to make sure it was dead.

Well, I don't mind having the coin, for now, as part of my 1929 year set. I'm sure I'll eventually upgrade.

I've done a lot better using the dealers recommended at CT, and a couple of others recommended elsewhere, but sometimes the siren call of eBay is too much to resist.

Personally I would not bid on that coin.

Well, the coin arrived today, and I have to say...I like it! I can see that it doesn't have any of its original luster, and the obverse in particular seems to have some of the cleaned attributes mentioned above. But honestly, I like it, and I think it'll stay in my 1929 year set album for a good while.

I realize that its cleaned status takes away most (all?) of its resale value, and I probably seem like more of an amateur than ever for liking it.

Again, though, I'm having fun with these sets.

    The coin is lifeless.
I agree with the overdipped analysis.
To me it's a waste of time grading.
