If anyone with more experience could help me with these two coins thatd be great. I would guess the morgan at a ms63 the three paralell scratches that show on the obverse behind liberty are on the gsa case.the merc i just do not know.
I'd go 63 on the Morgan too. Its too bad all the hits are on the cheek. The fields and the rest of the coin are probably better than a 63 but the chatter on the cheek is more than you'd normally see on a 64+. Its just too noticeable to go higher than a 63.
