got this in a grab bag at a shop the other day, just thought i'd share, i really like it. but not good at grading and attributes and such. thanks guys. http://www.flickr.com/photos/25708006@N08/
Its tough to tell form the pics, but Ill go with MS64RD. Theres alittle something above the ONE on the reverse thats gonna keep me from going anyhigher. Anyhow, nice coin. Now dont get fingerprints on it, that happens alot easier than you would think.
yeah i wish it would go this high but i dunno, as others have mentioned there is a few marks on the back that i have no clue what they are. so at this point we are looking at a 64 so i guess thats okay, too bad it is only worth a couple bucks.
But its an awesome start on a BU Lincoln Collection. Once you get one BU coin in there, it stands out above all the rest. Then youll find youself upgrading the rest of the collection to similar grades.
I like it. I suspect the marks on the reverse are die scratches, very common. It has tons of lustre and is struck nice. I call it a 65RD.
I have seen it written more than once that you sould not buy coins where the pictures are taken at angles. They make the coin look better struck and hide flaws.
these were taken by me, I will try too get a close up of the reverse tomorrow and see what that brings. I am just now learning too use the macro feature on my camera. thanks too all all ready in the making LOL it only took a few days too get too that point when i sat their looking at it. along with all the others in fine condition it just looks so sad sitting there all alone all shiny.
