Grade and Value on 1989 Vatican 100 Lire Please

    Bought it at an antique shop because it looked cool and it's literally flawless under a 10x loupe other than a small spot on his cheek where there's a needle sized indent. Can't find the value of this coin anywhere though.

    What a great coin! That just may make me take a look at other Vatican coinage :D

    They're unfortunately not worth too much but I think they're beautiful coins.

    Ah, okay. Thanks guys!

    At that value i guess it'll be going back into my collection as a memory for a while longer.

    And i agree Charlietig, after a brief image search they do have some really nice looking coins over in the Vatican.

    (Not trying to get into religion here) They really do @Dj Shift, I have a few coins commemorating the several Pope's over there and the coinage, while low in value, priceless in beauty.

    I think a big part of it is how intricate some of the designs are. Not many countries can pack that much detail into their coins and keep them looking so nice.

    I agree, no matter what religion (if any) you are, you have to agree, the Vatican has made some of the world's most beautiful coinage anywhere and anytime I think.
