Yay for the new camera. Not so yay for the pic. Can't wait to see the improvements! What kind of camera did you get?
No offense, but that's not a good picture. I can't even tell what kind of coin it is. It's very grainy and needs a lot more light. It's completely out of focus. You should experiment with setting the focus manually. On my el-cheapo digital camera there is no manual focus. Fortunately the autofocus does a good job most of the time. Good lighting is the key.
Great, now that you have a grasp of the finer points of phtoography and the English language (Gots me ...LMFAO), you are ready to sell coins on ebay.
I bought a digital camera last week and I bought it for taking pics of my silver bar collection. I am satisfied with my digital camera. Do not feel too bad about the first pics you take with your camera. My first few pics were bad too. What you should do is to practice taking pics of things to get use to the functions of your camera and how to use them. It will take some practice but once you get the hang of it, then you should be better able to take better pictures.
$25 for a camera, that sounds interesting.... Lets hope it has a marco setting.. LOL PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT when it comes to photographing coins.
