Last evening I had to attend a Secret meeting at the Ali Babba Temple of the Shrine Conclave <G> and Recreation Center in town. On my way I stopped for a snack and paid with a $5.00, not looking at the change. Today I realized there was a 1946 US Cent included in the change I received. Pretty neat eh? Take Care Ben
Yeah guys, it was s surprise, very unusual and I keep every bit of change I get (halves, quarters, dimes, nickles, and cents) too. Have been doing this for years. Got about six rolls of just 1968-1970 San Francisco Cents as well for the trouble, LOL... Take Care Ben
Right on Ben, I always smile when I get a "wheatie" in change. I have a little cast iron Bank of Detroit I throw them and the Canadians in.
I will search boxes of cents for fun and usually find a few wheats, but nothing to brag about. About a year ago I actually got a whaet in change at a taco bell. As I got a big smile and was all excited, my wife just looked at me and could not figure out what was the big deal. Then she asked how much it was worth. I said less than a nickel. Then she just shook her head. I on the other hand was just giddy She just doesn't get it.
Will the average Canadian fit in that bank? Do you let them out once in a while to feed them and let them use the facilities? Sorry Jack. I HAD to ask that!
