I was surprised to see these. Series 2017, I received them at my local grocery store yesterday afternoon. It's the only thing I've ever gotten from there that's halfway decent. New so I had to post. Not sure how long they've been out. Only two but in numerical order and crisp.
I've seen several of them in straps that I've searched. Mnuchin has worse hand writing than my 8 year old.
Jacob J. Lew's signature looks far worse. It's not even a signature- it's a preschool scribble. Let's keep the political bias to the side, furryfrog. Robert E Rubin's signature was pretty ugly as well. Collecting Nut- glad you found a couple of good condition 2017s.
Not everything I say is "political bias". It's an honest observation, his "signature" is worse than my 8 year old's. Try not to read too deeply into everything I post.
@Collecting Nut the notes you posted were printed in April 2018. Are these the first 2017’s you’ve found ?
Yes, my area only gets recycled money. I even spoke with my bank yesterday as all 3 of my favorite tellers were working and not a one of them new these bills were out in public hands. They had not seen a 2017 bill either.
It sure is as a lot of employees put a circulated note in between each new crisp note to make it easier to handle and to prevent them from handing out extras as they stick together.
Consecutive notes are very common in change but there usually crisp and uncirculated when it happens no extra Value though.
Nice bills but spenders IMO. I see a ton of crisp notes in consecutive order (never a full strap tho, be awesome when I do!), I just pass on them. Now if there were stars at the end of those serial numbers or consecutive errors, then we be cooking with bacon grease.
