    fretboard Defender of Old Coinage!

It's a Gold Medal made by Heinz Hoyer from Germany, total weight is 9 grams of 23k Gold, has a 986 stamp on the reverse but I took it to have it tested anyways as you never know what someone will try to fake! :D It's in a 14k bezel, I'm not gonna wear it but that's how I got it, besides it's way too big to wear! Anyone here ever hear of Heinz Hoyer? Not much information on him at all except he's made a few Euros and other Medals as well, he seems to use the same reverse on all his Medals! Merry Christmas to all! :cigar:

Yes, I never heard of him either but I like the design! My guess is Heinz was thinking Columbus because of the 1492 in the design. Hopefully someone here from Germany will share some information on him, we'll see! :D
