Very happy with the scale but even more happy that every one of my morgans that i bought off ebay, are real! Total of 10 so far. One quick question, im hoping that because a morgan weighs in at 27.7 that makes it real yes? Because a member on here showed me a video of the lister test where you turn it around in your hand and the light spins around the coin like a cartwheel, some of my morgans do not do that and have very poor luster, do all real coins have nice luster or what? Thats my question. Couple pics below
I've had this same scale for several years now, but I really should have gotten one a little more expensive with a weight tolerance to the nearest 1/100th of a gram. Chris
I've read that there are some fakes out there that have all the correct measurements (diameter, thickness, weight) and are made out of the right silver content, but those are usually the more expensive coins. Are your Morgans rarer ones?
Sadly I wish they were rare dates, And if they were fake but still silver, hey thats all good with me Im about 99% sure they are real.
