Got my first Draped Bust Dollar

I traded some coins for this, which I had $150 in. It is an 1800 and, upon examination, appears to be the BB-14 "Dotted Date" variety. Not a hole in my type set I was expecting to fill anytime soon.

Nice coin at a very nice price! The draped bust dollar is the only US coin I don't own. If I found one at that price I'd jump on it.

Nice find. Just think of all that coin has done.

 

I really want one of these but I have to take the time to learn more about them. It would end the type set I have been working on for 30 something years. Special coin for many collectors.

 

I've owned an AU 1795 three leaves flowing hair dollar before (long ago), but never a draped bust. Great addition.
