It was such a lovely sunny day here in the DC area that I decided to mosey on down to the U.S.Mint Store located inside Union Station and just for fun,took my camera with me so I can share with you. 1.)Exterior of Union Station..still decorated for Christmas. 2.)The US Mint booth,very tiny,never anyone in line..hehe 3.)Display case.Right now only the quarters,Kennedy rolls and medallions. 4.)100 year old Charlie ringing me up. 5.)The set...with cool bag! :goofer:

crispy, The regular business strikes will come out,as in previous years,one every 10 weeks.That's why I like getting the proof ones this early in the year because I can actually have them in hand long before most people ever see one.
OK,so that was kind of a sucky travelogue but i forgot about the 5 pic limit on each post so for those of you who have never been to DC,here are a few of the things I passed headed down to the mint Store.Sometimes living here gets you jaded about living amid such historical places.. Jefferson Memorial,Washington monument,Capitol Bldg.Treasury,Willard Hotel. GO REDSKINS
Should expect to see the Nevada quarter near the end of this month. If you live relatively close to Denver or Philadelphia you should see them sooner than in other places.
