Got my second star not this week. Just got me second star not this week. Its a 2006 $5.00 Fort Worth star note, and its in beter condition then the $1.00 bill I have.
It was actually my grandmothers I just gave her the $5.00 bill I had and kept this one. She doesn't collect money so she didn't care.
My luck with star notes goes like this; high run stars I find in great condition, and low runs look like garbage! My last find I won at a friendly poker game, and was a run of 320,000 that looks like crap. Still a keeper! To this day, I'm cringing at all the stars, silver certs, Indian head cents, buffalo nickels, mercury dimes, and standing quarters I let pass through my hands, and I was born in the late 60's "The Clad era" LOL I do remember an Ike dollar being the size of my hand when I was a child - but I digress...
