....yesterday at a grocery store. Pretty cool. So I went back later with some rolled cents from the bank for trade, and the manager allowed me to buy some more and I walked away with 16 rolls of 2009 D LP3 cents (String and Sons wrapper). Also, yesterday, I picked up 5 rolls of LP2 cents in plastic wrappers from bank. Each roll has between 2 and 5 cents that are not new. And, going from bank to bank I got 18 40% halves and 1 90% 1964 half. It was a good Coin Day!!
Congrats. Still not seeing much in 2009 coinage circulating in southern Michigan. So far have only seen LP1 D Mint, LP2 D Mint, and LP3 P Mint. No other denominations.
Ed, what state/city? Just curious. I asked at my bank and credit union, they haven't seen any nickels or dimes here in Michigan
