.....of those unusual Kennedy halves while searching rolls yesterday. This one is a 1971, gold plated, with the dates 1960/1985 stamped into it. I also got a 1998-S proof. I'll post pictures of the 1971 if anyone is interested.
OK, here it is..... This one has seen a lot of circulation. The gold plating has started to wear off on the devices, especially around Kennedy's neck and cheek. Sorry the photos are dark. I don't have the best scanner, but at least the dates are readable.
