Got an early Christmas gift

My wife came home from getting her hair done today and gave me this, I know the picture is rather bad, I cant get the camera to focus on close up shots. Anyway its the 1916-d Merc I needed to complete my set. I couldnt believe it

HaHa.....I went to get some 2 by 2s the other day at the coin shop,went home and explained to her all of the benefits of owning that coin that I could think of and stressed to her how important it was to complete a set.....I actually didnt think it was going to work....haha

 

I'll try to take a better picture. The coin is certified by ANACS and is graded AG-3 which I think it is only because its been lightly cleaned in the past, which I'm totally against, but hey, its a 16-d Merc!!! and it was a price that really couldn't be passed up on.

 

Thanks guys...now on to work on the next set.....hehehe
