So last week, my aunt came down to pick me up and go paint her house. But she brought me a gift! I got a table! Not just any table, but a table with coins from all over! Each of the coins are divided up by country and then have a line pointing to that country on a world map. It is very cool and will be loved and cherished till death do we part. Some nice coins in there (Got myself a peace dollar and some chinese silvers) Here are pics: Though it didn't look like that when I got it. It looked a little more like this: So I had a fun time re-organizing them to their right spots. One sad thing is that most of the coppers were cleaned, so I had to find a few replacements for them. But while I was going through, I found a 22-S Peace Dollar, a Chinese Dragon dollar, A junk dollar and a Great Britian Half Crown. Who doesn't like free silver, and better yet, free money??! The Chinese dollars are coming with me to the coin shoppe Friday for further authentication, but until then, pictures. I am going to enjoy this! ~Cannyn
Now you just need a toilet seat to match... You say you rearranged them, so how were the coins attached to the table? Some kind of glue or tape? How about the notes? Could you list all the countries represented or even what all the denominations of coins and notes are? That table is indeed a sweet gift from a very thoughtful aunt! Thanks for sharing.
a great gift! now, it's a family treasure! keep adding coins from different countries and then pass onto your future kids...
No glue at all. They are all loose and lying on felt. Same with the notes. Not all off memory, but here's what I can: US, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Haiti, Thailand, China, Spain, Greece, Philippines, Great Britain, France, Italy, Morocco, Taiwan, Malaysia, Iraq, Australia, Panama, Honduras, Mauritius, Singapore, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Israel, Korea, and Japan; and I think that is it. That it is!
