went into my lcs today to try and sell a new album that I have no use for to try and make money for my first coin show( here in town put on by my coin club). he told me hes never been able to move many albums ect. Then i seen a pile ontop of a shelf that ive never seen before. a small stack of albums

they were old and used but still in good shape priced $3-$4 some whitman some dansco.

He said he has had them since he opened the shop. I was looking at a dansco Roosevelt dime album and out of know where he said i could have it so as a good faith gesture I used the only $1 I had and bought a unc 1965 dime for the album.

this album only goes up to 1989 which is cool because that's when i was born also includes proofs

    my questions are

is there any thing i have to worry about with this album pvc etc

    when was this album made

why do the proof holes only start with the 68 s

Because San Francisco only struck proof dimes starting in 1968. In order to include the "S" mint mark in the collection, the proof designation was indicated.

Dansco and Whitman never used PVC AFAIK. Sniff them..PVC smells like a shower curtain.

Im aware of how pvc smells lol i alread took a sniff at the album it smells lile a old book.

And for the proof question thats kinda dumb youd think they would include the.older proofs to.
That sucks cus i have a few pre 68 proofs and no where to put them.

I real like how this album feels like a real book unlike other companys that feel like plastic coated.
Do newer dansco albums feel the same
