    Hello everyone,

I bought a box of pennies and found this 1907 Indian Head Penny, may sound silly, I'm not a lucky person and some of you probably have found lots of Indian Head pennies in rolls. Not me! I did find one last year, and just the other day I found this one, have to say I was SO EXCITED!! Except this 1907 Indian Head penny is not as thick as the other one.

Just wanted to share. Have a great week!

    Nice find.. Congratulations
The thickness sometimes varies so that's normal. Some Cents are struck on a slightly thinner Planchet or vice versa.

If the previous find was a 1859 - 1864 it may have been a copper-nickel cent. These were thicker and heavier than the bronze cents minted from 1864 on.

Thank you. Yes, I don't get a chance very often to buy a box of pennies and to find Wheat pennies is exciting, even dimes found in penny rolls including coins from other countries. To find an Indian Head penny? WOW! It's fun! Thanks!
