Not online but Bank of America can be helpful. Starbucks coffee usually have new rolls but you can only get 1 or 2 rolls at a time. Online the obvious is Ebay
Most of the time rolls like Cents and Dimes and things that aren't new...you won't get...other than dealers or such....I was lucky this year and got a box of 2005 Cents from the bank for my buddys...they were really happy! Speedy
AH...but they don't...they use the change everyone brings in to cash...that is why they don't have them... Speedy
That may be your bank's method but all of my banks get coins, cash, and other junk probably, delivered every Wednesday. Many of the local merchants in town have registers full of new coin rolls. Especially the penny, and quarter rolls for some reason. Try some different banks and peek into the till next time your out and about.
Well that is what all of the banks do in this town....maybe you live in a larger town---or maybe you have other names of banks then the ones here.... Speedy
rolls I've had good luck at my (small) hometown bank. they carry rolls of the new nickles and Quarters. D mint in my area, but they also carry some P and D mint coins that are certified uncirculated and sell at a markup.
Man I wish I could find a P mint coin thats newer than 2000. I'd give my left foot for 9 sets of P minted state quarters.
It sounds to me like you two guys are the solution to both of your problems. Just get two rolls each time & swap one. I found someone back east a couple years ago & it works out great. Nothing like helping yourself & a friend out at the same time!
I exchange American coins for Canadian coins with a very nice Canadian gentleman I met here on CT. He sent me a list of what he needed and I did the same and every once in a while, we mail off a small batch of coins to each other. He sent me a Canadian Victory nickel recently that puts our circulated coins to shame. Cost him a nickel and some modest postage. Couldn't be a nicer way to get the Canadian coins I need. Thanks Aye!
